Montgomery Press - Fine Art Prints
I started making Photographic prints when I was 16 in a garden shed at the bottom of my garden, 38 years later I am still printing my own work, a satisfying passion that has never gone away and still to this day gives me immense joy.
The wet, pungent darkroom of years ago has now been replaced by a digital Giclee printer from which I can now create beautiful photographic prints. Paper and print technology have enabled the finished results to be as tactile and soulful as the original wet-print along with an archival lifespan.
Through the creation of Montgomerypress I now have a platform offering people the chance to purchase my work and the opportunity to turn some of my favourite images into Limited edition prints. The prints are made by myself signed and dated with the edition number, packaged in sturdy archival print boxes and never rolled.
If you have any questions regarding the prints or require a be-spoke size please email orders@montgomerypress.co.uk and I will be happy to answer.
Best Wishes - Andrew
The Irish Bakery
Limited Edition Prints
The Irish Bakery was published in October 2023, written by Irish cook Cherie Denham alongside essays by Kitty Corrigan. Exploring the recipes and culture of baking across both Northern and Southern Ireland, the book is a visual delight, going deeper into the subject by illustrating the landscape and people of Ireland as well as the food. The Irish Bakery connected deeply with people on many levels, stirring memories of family, home and traditional baking. Receiving huge critical acclaim, the book is now in its third edition.
To celebrate its success a Limited Edition Series featuring 30 Photographs from the book is now available. Printed in either A2 or A3 each image is an edition of 500. All prints are hand signed and numbered by Andrew, packaged and available to be sent out worldwide in Archival Print boxes.
Winter Gardens
Winter Gardens was published in October 2021. Written by the author and garden journalist Clare Foster, the book broke the mould in its visual and textual approach to gardens. Focusing on twelve individual gardens and with widespread use of atmospheric black and white photography, the book took a unique approach to an often over-looked season in the gardening calendar. Winter Gardens was an immediate commercial success, achieving critical acclaim in both the UK and America, with both first and second editions selling out within months of publication.
